nicole v basta is a poet, educator, visual artist, event producer, with proud roots in the coal mines and garment factories of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Her poems have been published in Ploughshares, The Cortland Review, RHINO, Plume, The North American Review, Ninth Letter, etc. Her second chapbook “the next field over” was published by Tolsun Books (2022). Her work has been supported by Art Farm Nebraska, Terra Cultura, Community Arts Partnership, The New York State Council on the Arts, and Poets & Writers.
